Sri Yantra Meditation: Visions of Auspiciousness
Sri Yantra is actually OM as a visual graphic. Yantra means a visual tool for meditation and Sri means auspicious. Sri Yantra is often described as a meditative tool that will help one to balance their mind and achieve the fulfilment of their desires.
Through an introduction explaining the philosophy of Meditation and Samadhi, Yantra and Bindhu you will have a clear connection for working with Sri Yantra. Sri Yanta's precise and highly specific form develops your concentration and is also great training for your eyes. Some people will even experience improvement in their vision with regular practice! If you wear corrective lenses, if it is possible please take them off for this experience.
After the introduction and theory the practice starts with short and intense series of basic yoga asana, breathing exercises, and relaxation through yoga nidra to profoundly balance the body and mind in preparation for Sri Yantra gazing.
