Guru Śloka
Embodiment of Self Illumination Verse
Guru is an embodiment of the love of the One for Self, which with this love, manifests & illuminates self knowledge in individual beings. These embodiments of self illumination are teachers, masters of being, and even beings beyond the laws of karma and time. The Guru Śloka invokes the divine cosmic gurus utilized by their names in Sanskrit, often found through Indian and yogic related cultures. These guru are the principles of existence; Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva as aspects of the One. We learn to become conscious and non clinging to creation, sustain of harmony, & destruction. We also use this mantra to invoke our connection through the lineage of all masters and teachers to the One that facilitates our awakening beyond ego and separate self.
