A Real Retreat and Certified Training in Thailand
All ours teachers have an extensive experience in Yoga and teaching professionally for many years, guiding you into deeper states of concentration, transformation, healing, and learning to teach. The course takes places in the Yoga House on Koh Phangan, a gorgeous island in the Gulf of Thailand. Accommodation, lessons, healthy food, and leisure space are all found under one roof and in the surrounding gardens. You can truly take a break from the outer world distractions and go deep into practice with us. We recommend setting up your agenda so as to have no other responsibilities during this time so you can just focus on your practice with us. We even take one day in the course immersing in silence and introspection. On this day there will be no guided practices, no lectures, wifi will be turned off, and we will take a day of fasting from food. Give your mind and body a revelation of relaxation, healing, and inner awareness of pure being.

Practice Immersion
Each week we extend our morning practice time by 30 minutes. One of the most important things to providing a deeper experience and benefit of Yoga is ample time to move through the various dimensions of practice, from physical to energetic, from mental to pure awareness. The first week morning practices are 2.5 hours. The 2nd week 3 hours, the 3rd week 3.5 hours, and in the final week we will have a few 4 hour practices. These practices include warm ups, dynamic and static exercises(vinyasa and asana), meditation, breath work, kriya purifications, mantra chanting, visualization, as well as guided relaxation and Yoga nidra. Don't worry, it's not hours of intense physical exercise only!

Progressive Exercises
Come experience a practice that is safe and accessible yet challenges everyone, using props & modifications, variations, and levels, and different aspects to develop, encouraging you to explore your potential. We bring you into a calming and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of time to work deep into the exercises. Each afternoon we learn about yoga sequence and how to teach with fun and interesting activities. Through the weeks you will learn all the ingredients of a balanced practice and how to lead beginner to advanced progressions of poses, meditation, breath work, and be familiar with many other techniques. In the 2nd half we put it all together into your own classes. Each student will have the opportunity to teach two full classes in the last week with feedback. |

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in The Yoga House Koh Phangan, Thailand
The Yoga House offers a very warm and auspicious atmosphere. It's perfect for deep self work and relaxation. The venue hosts only private groups to go on retreat or Yoga courses. The house is reserved just for our group. On Saturday mornings we invite guests for open workshops and two times during the course we will have a community kirtan event in the evening with local yogis coming to join us in live music and singing.

Koh Phangan is a unforgettably amazing island in the Gulf of Thailand that has gorgeous beaches, unique communities and events, numerous yoga related retreats and schools, and also the most vegan/veg restaurants you'll ever see in one place. This is a place where you can find a quiet secret nature spots or meet friends at the market, go on a boat trip to even more remote beaches, or climb up the trails to find waterfalls and view points. It's still wild and free feeling, but also has air conditioned cafes, modern comforts, beautiful bungalows, and easy to travel around on rented motorbike or truck taxis.
The recommended route to get here is fly in to Bangkok, then fly Bangkok Airways to arrive in Koh Samui the night before check in day, or the morning of check in day, 7 July. Then take the ferry from Bangrak pier at 1:30pm to arrive in Thong Sala, Koh Phangan. We can arrange for your pick up from the pier to bring you to the Yoga house for Sajeeva Yoga Teacher training. Many nations get 30 days visa on arrival coming to Thailand, just fitting our course, or you can make a 60 day visa to take more time to enjoy the magic of Thailand before and after the course.

Yogic Philosophy, Sanskrit, and Puja Amitram is a brilliant and service oriented Yogi who has spent over the last 10 years sharing yogic knowledge building an eco - earthship ashram in Rishikesh, India. When not on site at the ashram Amitram is travelling and sharing his teachings around the world. In addition to practicing with us throughout the course, he will be teaching lessons in philosophy, meditation, Sanskrit, and creating fire pujas, ritual offerings to raise awareness of the divine that is within us. |

Yoga, Jyotish, & AcroYoga Anna is a gifted yoga teacher with established experience in Ashtanga Vinyasa and many years studying yoga philosophy and jyotish, the vedic astrology system. Her presence is very open to others and she joyfully shares her knowledge and support. One of her passions is AcroYoga and she teaches workshops with Sajeeva lead teacher George in the TTC. Yoga & Shamanism Jamie is guide of healing and connection for individuals and communities. He is currently training under the Brazilian shaman psychotherapist Xamam Alba Maria and in his work he leads singing circles, men's groups, and rituals that connect us with the land, the sky, and all the elements. Surya Shivjot Kaur
Yoga, Yin Yoga, Kundalini Yoga Surya embraces the very qualities that allow us to embody yoga to the fullest. She supports practise that expands our boundaries, transforms perspectives and creates positive change to a path of liberation and awakening. Surya is an international Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500), Yoga Teacher Trainer, Somatic Movement Educator (MA, SME) and Dancer, who grew up in Lapland, Finland. Her passion for ancient yogic science, meditation and Advaita Vedanta led her to study across Europe and India. She felt blessed to study under Indian yogis and Spiritual Masters, spending time in isolation, silence and studying yoga in the roots of the Himalayas. When I was looking for a Yoga TTC, Sajeeva Yoga seemed to be a complete and professional course. It surprised me, because it was much more than that. The experiences that I lived pushed my limits and challenged me to find harmony and balance in the middle of the chaos, while doing a difficult asana, or while holding my breath. It was a genuine transformation. Less looking on the outside and more focus on the inside, where all the knowledge resides, opened the doors to an infinite world: the now. Compassion, discipline, letting go, are just a few of the things that I learned are the foundations for balance and harmony. The classes were intense yet gentle. I mastered listening to myself, knowing when to go further or when to rest. The teacher, besides being amazing and trustworthy, is professional, attentive, very well prepared; he’s the real deal. He guided us through moments of uncertainty, making us feel safe and confident of ourselves. Never there was a moment of danger nor disrespect. It was a blessing to have such an awesome and humble human being as our professor. Lots of things I learned, transformed, let go, let in, but it all comes down to one simple thing: live the present fully conscious, Now. Yoga is not only asanas, it’s a holistic lifestyle.
